"Avalon" was a mythical set of islands off the shore of Britannia (Britain) where the inhabitants lived in peace and harmony. They aspired to teach and help when they could. When they became threatened by violence from the humans living on the mainland, they shrouded their islands in a magical mist to eternally protect them. Thus the mystery of Avalon began. In later years, it was said that Avalon was the place kings and heroes journeyed to. King Arthur, himself, was said to have gone there.
